5 Methods to Keep Visitors Coming Back

Loads of profitable websites rely on repeat visitors to their site to account for a major amount of the traffic to their website. Visitors that come back are easier to convert into buying customers because as they keep returning to the website, the more they will gain more trust in your website. The credibility of a site is the very thing to think about for success. So it is to your benefit, you should keep visitors returning to the website. You can use some of the following methods:

1) Start a forum, chat room or shout box. When you have created a forum, chat room or shout box, this creates a way of giving your visitors somewhere to voice their opinions and exchange views with like minds - they will all be visitors to you website. When conversations grow, with many responses a feeling of community will also result from this and your visitors are extremely likely to start returning to your website almost instinctively every day.

2) Start a web log (blog) having an internet journal, or what is usually called a blog, on your website and continually keep it updated including all the latest news about yourself and products that may help the visitor. The general public are always curious looking for information and they are highly likely to keep their eyes constantly glued to the monitor of your website if you post fresh news consistently. You will also gain lots of trust because you are showing to them that you are also a real life person!

3) Carry out polls or surveys. More methods that can benefit your site are polls and surveys there are other methods of getting visitors involved that you should most certainly consider introducing to your website. They can give a quick way for visitors to show their opinions and to interact on your website. You should probably consider the idea of publishing polls or surveys that are very relevant to the specified customers to your website so that they are kept interested enough to find out about the results to the polls and or survey.

4) Hold puzzles, quizzes and games, just think of the amount of office workers that are doing nothing at work from day to day, and you can imagine just how many people are likely to visit your website if you give those lots of very interesting and addictive methods of entertainment. It will also benefit you to can hold competitions that will award the high score winners and keep them attempting time and time again to win the prize.

5) Update frequently with fresh content. You should be updating your website on a frequent basis with new information that will ensure that every time your visitors return to your website, they will have some information to read on your website. As you have probably guessed, this is the most popular known and most powerful method of getting visitors to return to your website, but you are in luck because this is also something that is not done very well out of all the traffic generating methods, because of the laziness of webmasters. People won't enjoy browsing a website that looks the same and never changes over the years, so be sure to keep your website updated with the latest information.

Social Network Marketing & Why Your Business Depends On It

by Kristi Ambrose

If you have a website or a business online, chances are you already know that Social Networking sites like Myspace, Facebook, Twitter and Moli are fantastic tactics in order to market and promote your business(es).

If you are new to the Internet you might need a few tips, however, on how something like this works and most importantly why something like this works. That's where this article comes into play! One of the most important things you need to remember about marketing is that just because your spending a truck load of money, doesn't necessarily mean you're going to make a truck load of money.

In some case's quality websites that have free membership options like Facebook and Myspace can really allow you to create a great selling point without spending too much money. The main part of a business is your advertising margins versus profit margins.

And you never want to spend more money advertising than you are making back. This is called profit loss and it's how a lot of businesses get lost on the road to going out of business or worse; bankruptcy. It's a good idea to strategize your marketing plan beforehand.

Of course you can try little things out here and there like PPC for example but, I really wouldn't put all your eggs in one basket! It's a good idea to also spread your "money" out to a few different tactical campaigns but also make sure you are keeping track of where your money is going and if you are flipping or flopping as far as profits go. With Social Network marketing you have two different options. You can use something like Myspace PPC (which most people haven't had luck at) or you can use the free option.

Places such as FaceBook and Myspace have some really awesome facets of their websites which will give you the business person more of a global outreach than ever imagined. Besides your actual profile you also have comments, PMs, groups, classifieds, bulletins, chat rooms and so much more. Even on something like FaceBook you can actually "develop" an application and integrate your business idea into it.

For example, a few weeks ago this guy I met was an affiliate of a poker website so he decided to try the application idea which allowed him to incorporate his business and business idea into the application. This got people interested and "hooked" into what he was marketing, which in turn made people want to go to the website and find out more!

This is what you want! The "reach" that I was speaking about before has to do with all the people that belong to these websites and the Internet Marketing options available to you. These people come from all walks of life, all ages, all ethnic groups, and they all are on these sites for different reasons. But just like you, their reason also has to do with "networking" with other members.

If you have even a hundred "friends" on a site like Myspace I can absolutely guarantee that each one does something different, is looking for something different, and are from different places across the world. This is what I love about Internet marketing, even though we are in a financial bind right now with our country, a lot of other countries aren't having any effects whatsoever.

This allows for you the business person to reach out to these countries and these people which could very well result in a lot of money making opportunities! Even if you gave the Social Networking option a try for a few months, I have no doubt that you would see a leap in profits.

In a world such as this any profit is a good profit. But a profit that is efficiently maintained through use of Social Network marketing could just be the golden op you have always been looking for! This is something easy to do that anyone can accomplish. Mistakes are meant to be made as long as you learn from them then it was all worth it. Try asking some of your marketing buddies about the ads or "scripts" you are posting this also gives you a good idea of where you are going wrong or right and don't be afraid to be critiqued.

I don't know about you but, I would rather have personal friends critique me and make more money than for them to spare my feelings and live mediocre! Live the life you were meant to live, try out Social Network marketing the next time you need to try a new marketing option.

Tips to Feed, Indulge and Guide the search engine Robots

by Meenka Pandita

Many people believe that when a search is made in the search engines, the search engines check out the internet to find relevant information. However, this is not true.

According to leading companies providing SEO services, the search engines do not check out the internet to find relevant information about a search requested by a user, but use a robot to surf through the internet. The so-called robot is actually a simple software program which surfs the different web pages available on the internet and stores the relevant information in the database of the search engine. Therefore, when a user looks for certain information using the search engines, he/she actually checks out the information collected in the database of the search engine by the robot.

If you want your website to be ranked high in the search engines, you need to ensure that the search engine robot finds relevant information in your website that the robot might be searching for.

SEO Company in India suggests the following tips which will help your website to achieve a better ranking in the search engines:

Feed the robot: In order to feed the robot, you need to optimize more than one page of your website. Optimize your web pages for different but related keywords so that the robot finds the website to be relevant to a topic. More optimized pages mean better results. The more time and effort you put in, the better results you will achieve. After all, there is no shortcut for success.

Indulge the robot: The appearance of the website is not the same for the robot as you see it. The robot sees only the HTML code and extracts all information from it. Therefore, you need to ensure that, the HTML code of your web pages contain the right information at the right place.

The title tag, meta tags, headline tags, links, keywords in the body text should be in the right order and contain keywords in the right density. In short, SEO India experts believe that your website should be perfectly structured for the search engine robots to achieve better rankings.

Guide the robot: An important aspect of the website structure is the navigations and the internal links used. The website should have text links which are easy to follow and leads to different pages of the website, which you want the search engine robots to see. If the website has poor navigation, the search engine robots will skip the unlinked pages. It is suggested not to use Flash and images everywhere, as robots cannot read it.

According to companies offering SEO services, if the search engine robots are able to index your web pages, you will be able to achieve better page ranking for your website. Better ranking will help to draw in more potential customers and help your business to grow and earn profits.

Traffic Generation-The Heartbeat Of Your Online Business

by rhaeny

Traffic generation should be at the top of your list of must do activities if you want to have a successful online business.

If you don't get traffic, you don't get visitors who turn into subscribers, who turn into buyers. But this is one of the hardest things to do, because there is so much information that can send you in so many different directions. I hope that by the end of this article I will add some clarification on this topic for you.

If you think about it, there are only a few possibilities of bringing a steady flow of long term traffic to your website. That is your goal isn't it? Long term traffic?

There is article marketing, backlinks, organic search engine traffic and Pay Per Click. Article marketing is advertising by writing articles that are keyword rich, not keyword stuffed, about a subject and then submitting them to article directories for exposure.

Article marketing includes using both paid and free advertising. Backlinks are simply links on other peoples site pointing back to your site. The more of these you have, the higher your site will climb in the rankings.

For example, say you like something I wrote about on my blog. You then write about it on your blog or website and include a link back to my article. There you have it. That's called a backlink.

You see backlinks all the time and probably just didn't realize what they were called nor understand that they hold a significant value to the website owner.

Organic search engine traffic is just a fancy way to say that the results of any search that is found on the left side of your screen is the natural or organic results of your keyword search. Anything on the right of the screen is paid advertisements that are keyword phrase driven.

Pay Per Click is pretty much what is says. You pay for advertising using a keyword phrase, and when a visitor clicks on your ad, you pay for that click in hopes that you will sell whatever you are promoting.

The industry average for PPC is 1 out of every 100 clicks will result in a sale. So you better make sure that the amount of money that it will cost you for a hundred clicks is far less than what you will make for a sale. The difference will be your profit so make that amount something you are comfortable with.

For example, if you choose a keyword that costs 10 cents per click and the product you are promoting will yield you a $30 sale, then you will have earned a $20 profit.

10 cents X 100 = $10.00

One Product Sale = $30.00

$30 - $10= $20.00 profit

The calculation of profit is easy, but PPC itself is a whole lot more involved than that, but I just wanted to give you a brief overview of how PPC works. Do not attempt PPC based on any discussion here or you will be sure to lose your pants.

Okay so let's move on to the methods of traffic generation that are more reliable for long term effects - article marketing, backlinks and organic traffic.

I want to concentrate the discussion on these because they can be free to do and can yield the most long term effect. I am eliminating PPC because when your campaign ends, so does any residual effect.

Backlinks are generally used to increase your page rank (PR). If they are built properly you will naturally increase your PR over a period time, which is what the search engines are looking for.

The gradual increase of good quality backlinks will build your site up to get organic search engine traffic. So these two methods heavily rely on each other.

A long time ago people used to create hundreds of backlinks which were not relevant at all to the theme of their website. This increased their PR drastically, but the search engines finally caught on and now if you try that tactic your site could get permanently banned.

Now nothing has change from what was needed back then versus what's needed now in regards to backlinks to raise your PR. The difference now is that you need to build highly relevant and high quality backlinks.

If your site is about building decks, then don't try to link to a site about gardening just because it has a high PR....remember the relevance and quality factor? However, if your site is about fishing, and you link to another site about fish bait; well this would be a very good backlink. Can you see how the relevance of your backlinks plays such an important role now?

If you think about this, it makes perfect sense. Why should the search engines give you a high PR just because you can paste a bunch of links on your site that probably have nothing to do with your subject matter? That's what is called a link farm.

But if you build these links the right way, the search engines will pay you dearly for it by giving you organic search engine traffic, which is THE best to have.

Also I did not forget about article marketing. You can use article marketing to help create those quality backlinks too. If you submit your articles to article directories, they will get published all over the internet.

Therefore when you write your articles and include that backlink to your site, you are killing three birds with one stone. You are helping fulfill the need of backlinks; you are gaining new subscribers and making sales.

And don't forget that the more articles you write, the more quality links you will build, and the long term residual income is bound to come.

Online Business - Ideas To Promote Growth

by Nugu

A lack of growth after a period of time is something that nearly every online business has experienced at some time or another. If you are not doing the correct things it is not uncommon for an online business to reach a plateau and even drop backwards.

Let's take a look at 4 ideas that you can implement to increase growth and take your online business up to the next level.

So let's get started - have you thought about becoming an online detective? Very little is hidden on the internet so you may as well take advantage of being able to easily find out what your competitors are up to! You could start off by finding out what sites are competing with yours by typing your main keyword phrase into the search engines and then take a good look at the businesses that appear on the first page of the search results.

Things to look out for are their marketing strategies, what products are they offering and at what prices, the general look of the website, incentives offered and so on. Have a look to see if they are offering incentives such as free ebooks to purchasers or a free newsletter to subscribers? This exercise will provide you with ideas on how you can improve your own online business.

Secondly, you need to understand your customers and know what they are looking for. The internet provides many places that you can find prospective customers. One reason for the lack of growth in your business could be that you are not reaching the full potential of your target market.

As an example, social media is something that many people are involved with online in one form or another. It is important therefore to market your business in multiple ways online in order to experience growth.

Are you meeting new potential customers through the social networks and bringing your business alive with the use of video? Are you making regular posts on your blog and do you invite your readers to leave comments, which will give you the opportunity to interact with them?

The internet changes rapidly and those marketers who do not keep up with the pace will experience a lack of growth. To get your online business to the next level be in a position where you can reach out to as many potential customers as possible by being involved in multiple markets.

Thirdly, whilst knowledge is a great thing, it is totally useless if you do not put it into action. So as you do your research you need to be making notes of your findings and putting together a strategy that you can implement to take your online business to the next level.

By working on a daily basis and implementing your new strategy your business will in time move to the next level. You need to implement strategies such as viral marketing, social networking, video blogging, trading links with high PR sites and any other methods that your competitors are using.

Last but not least, it is really important that you keep track of the progress your online business is making and when you discover what is working then put in extra effort and do more of it.

If you not getting the results that you hoped with a particular method, then find other ideas to implement.

You will never go wrong if you continually add new and unique content to your website in a variety of ways. The key things that you can monitor and see results from are unique content and back links and these ideas will take your online business to the next level.

Google Adsense - The Easiest Money To Make Online?

by khadka3318

For the last couple of months, Google Adsense has dominated forums, discussions and newsletters all over the Internet. Already, there are tales of fabulous riches to be made and millions made by those who are just working from home. It seems that Google Adsense have already dominated the internet marketing business and is now considered the easiest way to making money online.

The key to success with Adsense is the placing of ads on pages that are receiving high traffic for high demand keywords. The higher the cost-per-click to the advertiser, the more you will receive per click from your site. Obviously, it does not pay to target low cost-per-click keywords and place them on pages that do not receive hits.

With all the people getting online and clicking away everyday, for more details visit to www.google-atm-machine.com it is no wonder why Google Adsense has become an instant hit.

For some who are just new to this market, it would be a blow to their pride knowing that their homepage is buried somewhere in the little ads promoting other people's services. But then, for more details visit to www.adsense-income-exposed.com when they get the idea that they are actually earning more money that way, all doubts and skepticism is laid to rest.

There are two major, and clever, factors that some successful webmaster and publishers are learning to blend together in order to make money easier using Adsense.

1. Targeting high traffic pages on your website. If you check on your logs, you will discover that many of your visitors are taking advantage of the free affiliate marketing resources and ebooks that you are offering on your site. In simple words, your ads are working effectively and are generating more clicks. It also means more money for you.

2. Placing Adsense links on pages that are producing little, or better yet, no profit. By placing Adsense on a free resources page, you will reduce the amount of potential customers being lost to other sites. Tricky, but effective nonetheless.

When learned to work effectively, these two factors are actually a good source of producing a minimal amount of revenue from a high traffic page. Many people are using this strategy to pick up some extra and cash with Adsense. This is also especially rewarding to informational sites that focus their efforts on delivering powerful affiliate link free content to their visitors. Now they can gain a monetary return on their services.

With the many techniques that people are now learning on how to make the easiest money by their Adsense, it is not surprising that Google is trying everything to update and polish their Adsense in order to maintain their good image.

The possibility of adding is 2nd tier in Adsense is not impossible. With all the people spending more time in their Adsense now and still more getting into this line of marketing, there is no doubt about the many new improvements yet to be made. Imagine the smiles on the faces of the webmasters and publishers all around the world if ever they sign up for sub-affiliates and double or even triple the amount that they are already earning.

The one particularly handy money-making feature that is available with Adsense now is the ability to filter out up to 200 urls. These gives webmasters the option to block out low value offers from their pages as well as competitors to their websites. Talk about taking only those that are advantageous and discarding the ones that seem 'useless'.

With Google Adsense, the possibilities are limitless. Yet there is also the possibility of someone taking advantage of the easy money process that this internet marketing is doing. If you think more about it, these negative factors may force Google to break down and thrash Adsense in the process. If that happens, people would have to go back to the old ways of internet marketing that does not make money online as easy as Adsense.

For now, however, Google Adsense is here to stay. As long as there are people wanting to earn some easy cash online just using their talents, the future ahead is looking good. Besides with all the strict guidelines that Google is enforcing over Adsense, it will take awhile for the Adsense privileges to be spammed and even terminated.

you have a Niche Market that you sell goods from or consistently operate in? If not then you should give some very serious thought to looking for a niche that you can dominate and become known as a respected expert in.

If you become known as an expert in any particular niche market, then before very long you will have hoards of people beating a path to your door looking for expert advice and answers from you as the specialist in your particular field of endeavours.

It does not matter one iota what the Niche of your choice is, just so long as you know your subject and do your research well enough to be in a position to give professional advice and answers to the many problems that others are looking for you to help them solve in the relevant market.

Let's say for instance that you know something about diet and weightloss! By the way I personally know nothing about this extremely large niche market, other than approximately four years ago I dercided that at around 14 stone weight I was getting far too large and obese for my height and age.

So I made a conscientious decision to do something about it... But that's another story, except to say though that I now only weigh around eleven and a half stone and also feel a good many degrees better healthwise. What I can pass on to you though is the fact that I did enough research on diet to help me in my quest of losing that two and a half stone of weight along with all the extra fat that my body was carrying unnecessarily.

I did this research mainly by looking in Ancient Books about diet and weightloss that I found during my searches for old books on ebay and google. Now had I wanted to, I dare say that it would have been relatively easy to become quite an expert in this particular market niche within a reasonably short timescale.

So if you want to become an expert... and if diet and weightloss is your chosen Niche... How would you go about it in order to use the information to make money for yourself?

Well here is what I personally would do.

IN FACT THIS IS WHAT I DO whenever I want to quickly find as much information and knowledge as possible on any market niche of my choice that I believe it is possible for me to dominate and make money out of over a consistent period of time.

First of all I will go online and try to find ancient books on the chosen subject. But I don't just want any old book on the Niche... In this example remember we are using "diet and weightloss." What you would need to do is search for "Old Books" in this particular field of interest.

Either on an auction site such as ebay, or on a site like amazon, you could type in Old Diet Book or old weight loss book ans see the results that are returned. Look out for results showing works or books written prior to 1900 initially, just to be on the safe side, then narrow down your search into whatever niche you prefer your ancient book to be in. EG "DIET"

Once you have found a book that is to your liking and suitability for the market you are researching, buy this old book and study it well enough to obtain as much information as you can possibly use about your very own niche. If you want to gather even more information which you can then take and use as your own material, keep searching for similar historic books on the same subject matter.

Remember that the more knowledge you can glean from old books, then you will come over much more strongly to others as a respected expert when it comes to generating endless amounts of money in your chosen market niche.

Now you can use as much as or all of the relevent information that you have obtained in order to put into your product sales literature or advertising, whether it is online or offline and whether the product is a physical one or digital, such as another book, compact disc, DVD or tape series. You are able to do this knowing full well that you will be looked upon as a Guru in the Niche you are now dominatiing, purely because you have taken the time and trouble to carry out what others want to know but only dream about doing for themselves.

Most of the time they would rather leave it to you as the expert to impart your amazing wealth of knowledge to them.

Avoid This Internet Marketing Trap To Succeed

by Michael Tasker

When starting out using the internet as a medium for selling information products the more research that is undertaken, the greater the uncovering of further information, tips and tactics that are marketed as essential to assist you in the success of your information marketing venture. It is only natural in the early days to gain as much knowledge as possible to fill the gaps in your learning.

Unfortunately, there is a problem that remains today that everyone can admit to being guilty of at some point in not just their knowledge building but also when they have been undertaking information marketing on the internet for a period of time. Only when the problem is identified, has been acknowledged and then rectified can serious progress be made to achieve the goals that should have been made right at the start of the venture.

The problem is brilliantly summed up as "the shiny bullet". It is "shiny" so to attract you. It will stir your interest and get you thinking and visualising the outcome that it promises and thus it achieves the ideal marketing scenario. It works as it stirs the emotions so that the "buy now" button is clicked on and a purchase is made. What is "it"? It's the next big thing, the product that will make you the money that you dream about, the software that will automate everything for you, the no work system that you just have to plug in and watch your bank account fill with orders. The copywriting that sell the product is excellent and thus subsequently captures mant to buy the dream fulfilment.

What happens is that when those new to information marketing get the product and realise that it involves putting in effort, the "work" word, the initial enthusiasm wears off and only a few who purchased will actually use their new product. Most of those will then give up after only a short period of time and then do something that is a delight to the established marketers. They will be caught in the headlights of the next "shiny bullet" and repeat the process all over again.

Why is it called "bullet"? Quite simply, by following this path you are killing any hope that you have to achieving even a modicum of success in information marketing. It is the complete opposite of what is required, which is focus. Concentrate on one project at a time that you know there is a market for and develop and sell products for that market. Don't get distracted by all these "shiny bullets" that are fired in your direction that you see everyday in your email inbox. If you feel you really want to purchase something, only do so if the answer to the question "will this help me make progress in the next 30 days?" is yes.

By all means purchase further knowledge to ensure you will succeed but be very aware of standing in line and being hit by all these shiny bullets. Many beginners never get out of the firing line, fail at what they set out to do and proclaim that information marketing on the internet does not work. So stay far away from the continuous flow of shiny bullets and you will be on your way to proving them wrong.

You have been gathering a lot of information about starting a work at home business based on the internet. You now need the assistance to guide your through these tricky first stages to build a solid business foundation.
What is the key to your success? Avoid the shiny bullets and find your stepping stones to your work at home internet business success at http://www.yourworkathomejob.com

Google Ranking. It is possible to be number one.

by Anna Baumgartner

A lot of people who have their website are dreaming to be on the first pages in Google.

Actually, it is possible. It depends on a lot of factors, but, if you take them into the consideration, you can be number one.

Keywords play one of the most important role in being in a good ranking position in Google. There is a unique program Wordtracker, which gives you an opportunity to find the right and demanded keywords for your website. It gives you a choice of words and phrases, which you even didn’t think of. Very often you will notice that the word, which based on your opinion could be a key word is not requested at all. There is a trial program, so it gives you an opportunity to use this service for free for some time.

Adwords gives also a good possibility to find keywords for your site. It is for free, and you can use it any time. You just enter the domain of your page and receive a list of keywords, which fit your site content.

Your site will get a lot of visitors, if it has interesting material. That is why good articles full of keywords and phrases make a very useful input. If you add each week a new article, it will pay you back good results also. Try to write your own article and to publish it to ezines with link to your page. It brings your site also further, and you get targeted visitors.

Domain name is also important in crawling to the top. Choose it well. It has really bring people to the topic based on your domain name. It can be of the factor to crawl better in ranking of searching engines. Think about keyword combination, which fits your site content.

Links on your page can be very helpful to have good ranking. Put some links to the sites, which are already on the top.

Google’s policy now is to have on the first pages really rich informative sites, not only full of products to sell and bunch of advertising. Your site has to be different from the others and to have interesting material for public. If you know, how to make it, then you have good chances to be first in Google ranking.

Social Media Marketing- The Perfect Way to Promote Your Website

by ranju_kumar

By promoting your website using social media marketing, the traffic that you need to boost your site to the top of the ranking is accelerated. The repeat traffic that you will generate is a must not only for the rankings but the profits you can make by having web generated buyers.

There are several reasons that social media marketing has taken a while to catch on. The main reason is that many people do not know much about this type of marketing. The rest of the population may be interested in knowing but do not know how to go about using it and then there are those who just do not care to know. The one thing that most people do not realize is the amount of traffic that you can generate by using social media marketing is very large scale.

By using the technology that the internet provides - the video and audio on our computers- social media marketing can be used to promote anything. The technology has arrived; it is just not to the point of popularity that it will eventually be. This is one of the most cost friendly methods of promoting your website that will pay off in large numbers.

Social media marketing is the perfect way to promote viral content. Viral promotions are list, promotions, quizzes, how-to-videos, and this type of content. When it is used in this manner, the traffic that is generated is tremendous. The appeal is the difference between reading about how to do something, for instance making a chocolate pie, or watching a video about how this is done. The obvious choice would be watching a video.

When you use social media marketing you will generate traffic in more ways than one. The people who link directly to you and the referrals from other websites are tied into your website. The social news websites are a key to getting many of these links. Some of these social news websites such as Digg are trusted websites that will have a lot of clout with people who will be considering linking to your website to check it out. One thing that helps is the trustworthiness of the site that is referring traffic to your site. This can make the difference between whether you get traffic or not.

Stumble Upon is another site that people feel confident with when it comes to sites recommended. Your site can have more credibility when it is recommended by a well known site. When promoting a site, it is extremely important that the content be interesting to the social media. When the content is interesting, you will get loyal followers that will stay with you and keep track of your site.

The only thing you need to get started is interest in your site that will have people making purchases and telling others what a great site you have. The more your site is recommended the more traffic generated to your site. Naturally as this happens, the word will spread about this new site and more people will be checking it out which is more traffic. Social media marketing can make your site become a memorable one to people who will recommend it to others. This is the key to the explosion of popularity and traffic that you need to generate traffic to your website all by using social media marketing.

Relationship Of Google Adsense Your Blog And Web Directories.

by john00003

One of these subsidiaries of Google is called AdSense. Most of you must have heard of it but are not sure of what it is and how it helps people make a lot of money online. Well tell you here all that you need to know about Google AdSense and how you too can benefit from it.

In laymans terms Google AdSense is a marketing company. But you must rise above that level if you really want it to also work for you. For more details go to www.googleincomememachine.com .It is not just any other ordinary marketing company. It is an online marketing company and its marketing techniques are to say the least very innovative. It is an advertising company that is paid only if people see the advertisements and click on it.

Google AdSense ads are one of the most convenient and hassle free ways of advertising on your website. You just have to sign up with Google AdSense, accept their terms and then just sit back and do your part of the bargain, that is blogging and posting relevant content on your blog. After Google places ads on your blog and the visitors click on it Google will pay you fee based on Pay Per Click basis.

So whats in it for Google? Well, Google does not pay you the entire advertising fee to you but only a smaller percentage of what it gets. So Google also makes a good amount of money in all this exercise.

Now you must be thinking that why should you share the advertising revenue with Google when you are doing all the hard work of attracting visitors to your blogs? Well, that is because Google has a brand name which you perhaps dont have right now. Apart from that Google being a huge organization has more credibility amongst the advertisers than an individual or a small company. So theres nothing to fret about if you have to share the revenue generated out of advertising with Google AdSense. If you want to see what I am saying try and persuade 4 companies to advertise on your website and pay you on per click basis.

The form which you have to fill in for subscribing to Google AdSense will ask for some of your information like bank account number, Social Security number, Tax account number, address etc. Feel free to give it them because your information will be encrypted and stored only to be retrieved in case of a legal issue. For more details go to www.googleatmcash.com .Google Adsense also pays the subscribers for referrals. Referrals basically mean that you will get paid an amount of money if you refer someone else to become a subscriber of Google AdSense. Also if you place Googles toolbar on your blog and somebody downloads it, then also you get a commission for that based on every download.

While a lot of people have made a lot of money with Google AdSense, there are many others who just cant stop complaining that it is just another fraud. The crux of the matter is that you have to be smart and write content that is search engine friendly while being informative or interesting to the reader at the same time if you really want Google AdSense to work for you.

Effective social bookmarking has become a tool to be reckoned with when it come to producing network marketing traffic and leads. Did you know that using proper bookmarking etiquette can increase not only the traffic to your mlm business, but can also drive your website(s) up in the top rankings of the search engines? Social bookmarking gives you an immediate edge of being exposed to more targeted leads overtime, plus more targeted traffic to your blog or website which in turn will lead to more sales and signups.

Some of the best social bookmarking sites are

Digg
Facebook
Propeller
Twitter
Technorati
Stumbleupon

Although there are tons of social bookmarking sites on the internet you want to make sure you only use a few to get the desired results, because Google is very particular about the abuse of these particular services and they will penalize your status making it very difficult for you to show up in the search engine results.

If you want to boost your network marketing traffic and the amount of leads through bookmarking, the above list will suit you well. The key here is to use bookmarking services with the most users and popularity. However, don't be selfish in your activities with these services. If you see a post that really catches your attention, make sure you vote, comment, or write a short review giving the author credit, and in return you will increase your traffic to your network marketing business website.

There are many benefits of social bookmarking that will help you to expand your network marketing business. One way is to upload and share videos that you've posted on Youtube or your blog. Or you may want to bookmark an article that you wrote to get more traffic. Either way, the most important step in the bookmarking process is the use of keyword tags.

By using proper tags, the search engines will be able to search your content when your information is searched for by someone in your niche market. Tags are very important to use in each bookmarking component since this is how your article or video will be found by targeted prospects.

So if you are looking to increase your network marketing traffic and leads, using the best social bookmarking strategies has to be in your marketing arsenal. Not only will it increase the amount of exposure you receive, but it will also create more one-way backlinks pointing back to your website, which means more opportunity for your site to move up in the search engines much faster.

Dynamic vs. Static URLs for SEO-00-1083

by lori

1) Static URLs typically Rank better as far as the search engines are concerned.

2) Static URLs are always friendlier looking as far as the end users are concerned.

What the Official Google Webmaster Central Blog has to say on the issue:

a) What is a static URL?

A static URL is one that does not change, so it typically does not contain any url parameters. You can search for static URLs on Google by typing filetype:htm in the search field. Updating these kinds of pages can be time consuming, especially if the amount of information grows quickly, since every single page has to be hard-coded. This is why webmasters who deal with large, frequently updated sites like online shops, forum communities, blogs or content management systems may use dynamic URLs.

b) What is a dynamic URL?

If the content of a site is stored in a database and pulled for display on pages on demand, dynamic URLs maybe used. In that case the site serves basically as a template for the content. You can spot dynamic URLs by looking for characters like: ? = &. Dynamic URLs have the disadvantage that different URLs can have the same content. So different users might link to URLs with different parameters which have the same content. That's one reason why webmasters sometimes want to rewrite their URLs to static ones.

c) Should I try to make my dynamic URLs look static?

Following are some key points you should keep in mind while dealing with dynamic URLs:

It's quite hard to correctly create and maintain rewrites that change dynamic URLs to static-looking URLs. It's much safer to serve us the original dynamic URL and let us handle the problem of detecting and avoiding problematic parameters. If you want to rewrite your URL, please remove unnecessary parameters while maintaining a dynamic-looking URL.

If you want to serve a static URL instead of a dynamic URL you should create a static equivalent of your content.

d) Which can Googlebot read better, static or dynamic URLs?

"We've come across many webmasters who, like our friend, believed that static or static-looking URLs were an advantage for indexing and ranking their sites. This is based on the presumption that search engines have issues with crawling and analyzing URLs that include session IDs or source trackers. However, as a matter of fact, we at Google have made some progress in both areas. While static URLs might have a slight advantage in terms of clickthrough rates because users can easily read the urls, the decision to use database-driven websites does not imply a significant disadvantage in terms of indexing and ranking. Providing search engines with dynamic URLs should be favored over hiding parameters to make them look static."

by Juliane Stiller and Kaspar Szymanski, Google Search Quality Team

Search engines always face a lot of problems in creating links to dynamic content.

If you are yourself able to know these kinds of problems, you are halfway to getting your dynamic content indexed. Where ever possible, use static URLs to reference dynamic content.

If it is not possible then you must make sure that your dynamic URL is attached to by content referenced with the help of static URLs. You can also think upon making use of paid-inclusion programs.

7 Classic New Blogger Mistakes that Will Kill Your Traffic, Profit or Leads

by MorganLighter

Someone’s always asking me why their blog isn’t getting traffic/making money/converting leads. These are the top seven mistakes that are related to all three of these issues.

1. Being Too Anonymous

The general public still have only the vaguest idea of what a blog is. For those people, this is how it goes. They go to a search engine or a site they already frequent. They search for something or follow a link. They end up at your blog.

In 10 - 30 seconds, from 25% up to 90% of the time, they’ll then leave, not having found what they want, never to return.

What makes the percentage of people who stick around higher? It’s typically 3 things.

A- There’s so much information at that site in a topic that interests them that they will be back.

B- They get the sense that someone is “minding the store”,

C- Least likely, they believe that they will find what they’re looking for or and feel connected to a real person who might be able to answer their question, or direct them to something better.

You can affect those last two by being a real person. I know some people have ghost bloggers, CEOs in particular. They give their general ideas to another party who fleshes them out. Or the other person writes all their blog posts. Some sites have a team of bloggers posting on a site where the actual owner who makes the most profit is never heard from.

And that’s fine. Your blog must still have personality. There’s no law that says it has to be Your personality. But if you have an impersonal blog, you may as well not have a blog at all.

2. Not Linking to Fellow Bloggers

Big mistake. Biggest lesson in blogging is that no blog is an island. Why would you expect people to link to you if you don’t link to them? And if you think that’s giving away traffic that won’t come back, think of it this way.

Unless you chain someone to their computer, they’re eventually leaving. And since it’s illegal to do that, you might as well help your visitor along their way. It is imperative that you develop the confidence to know that they’ll come back. And no one can place a gift in the palm of your hand if you’re holding out a closed fist.

3. Not Commenting on Your Blogs or Others.

No popular blogger catches every last comment, true. But to get to popularity, you better believe they started out that way. You should also comment on other blogs. In fact, forget your link the first few times - you may only need one link to count in your favor anyway. So take the focus off that and add to the discourse.

It’s smart blogging and people don’t forget it.

4. Speaking Like an Expert Before You Know Your Stuff

This is my number one pet peeve. Everyone is an expert on something, but you should Only speak expertly on things you know about. Doctors don’t try to do your taxes for you. It just doesn’t make any sense.

At first, people may listen to you. But once they do what you say and they fall flat on their faces, because of your bad advice, what then? Do you think they’ll be in line to buy your products and solicit your services? Will they become return visitors who may click on advertisements that interest them?

No. Duh!

And yet I see people I think of as truly intelligent make this dumb ass mistake again and again.

It’s so cool to have authority and to have people’s opinions be swayed by your knowledge and expertise, sure. But until you can prove your results, cite supporting research from trusted sources, and maintain a reputation for being a rain maker, you’re shooting yourself in the foot and you’ll probably take your business down with you.

Not to mention all the poor people who are following your bad advice. My favorite thing is when people give contradictory advice on different blog posts in the same week, without even recanting. They state whatever position is popular, just to get visitors, not caring about the fallout they cause.

So if you’re a newbie blogger, how do you get popular without declaring yourself an expert? How can you have power and be influential if you’re the little guy? That’s another article for perhaps later on today.

5. Failing to Capture Leads

There’s no reason why you shouldn’t have some type of lead capture on your site. Even if it’s inadequate and you don’t intend to email your list frequently. Sending them a freebie or some tips once a week is enough to keep your list warm. Send them a tip a day and it’ll be blazing hot. And when your tips hold water, they’ll be ready to spend money on the premium version of your solution to their problem.

The same is true for RSS. More people are using RSS feeds, and sometimes they are fading into the background of other tools they use to retrieve information or do research. For the love of Pete, if you’re blogging, turn your site feed on and test to make sure it works.

6. Taking without Giving and Thanking

It’s great when everyone links to you, pays attention to your site, and generally makes you popular. But you have to frequently remember that you’re nothing without those folks. Send a private thank you note. Make a public one.

Add the link of the person who linked you to a social bookmarking site. Comment. Share. Make a blog post about your supporters.

7. Poor Integration of Monetization Techniques

Another pet peeve of mine.

It’s amazing how many times I pull up a blog that has more in-your-face monetization plans than good content. Not that I’m against money. You know me. I’m not ashamed of being a capitalist. The value exchange is one of man’s best inventions.

However. If you want to have paid reviews, an advertiser block, Google AdSense, affiliate links and paid link positioning on your site all at the same time, blend, darling. You can get all that stuff on your blog, and more, if you’ll simply position it properly.

If you don’t know how? Hire a designer.

Okay. I think that was all seven. A long article, but it’s worth it if any one of those seven points puts money in your pocket, traffic in your site, or leads in your sales process.

How to Actually Rank For Any Keyword With a Legitimate Search Engine "Loophole"...

by Andrew Bailey

Only the largest, most-established authority sites can reliably see consistent traffic from Google. And even then, their rankings fluctuate constantly - several times a day, in some cases. The fact is - it's getting harder and harder for the "little guy" to get any kind of meaningful web presence on the web these days.

Getting ranked in Google is almost impossible unless you've got a major promotional budget and some time on your hands to "wait" for your domain to become trusted (Google favors older domains). And advertising with pay-per-click ads isn't affordable like it once was.

Search marketing has finally become what everyone feared it would - a game reserved for big business. But what if there was still a way to legtiimately rank for keywords with tons of traffic? And what if you could do this without having to spend months and even years building up an authority site to do so?
In fact - what if you could systematically create one-page minisites that could rapidly rank in the top 3 spots (consistently) for basically any keyword you target within a matter of a week or so?
Is this for real?

YES.

But not with Google.

It's happening right now, as we speak, on MSN.com

Now - before you think it - yes, I know, MSN doesn't have nearly the reach that Google does. But, it still does receive millions and millions of search users daily. After all - MSN is the default home-page for anyone who first uses Internet Explorer.

And, to put it in perspective, which would drive more traffic? Occupying the #1 ranking for your most desirable keyword target on MSN? Or occupying the #47 spot on page 5 of Google's results? Sadly, it's actually more effort to make it to the 47th spot in Google than it is to literally dominate in MSN.

How does this work?

Click here and watch this video to find out: or Click Here To View More Digital Products http://www.digitalproductsrus.com/ Like I said - forget about Google. Focus on something that you can actually WIN with, and win big!

Evaluate AdSense with Some Type of Balance

by IB SERVE

There are times Google's heralded ad affiliate program isn't in your long term business interest. Oh no I said it!

AdSense isn't the unstoppable revenue engine for every eBusiness. Before I am taken out and flogged by the eCommerce pundits -- please let me explain what I mean in my defense.

I make revenues from AdSense at a very high click-through rate. I experience high click-through rates with AdSense without resorting to questionable tactics like tricking site users with photos (the AdSense trick and tip dujour).

So my perspective is from one who has made decent income from AdSense to fund aspects of his business like advertising seminars -- and outsourcing to his virtual assistants. Yes, AdSense is a legitimate and significant revenue source. However evaluate AdSense with some type of balance.

By now you may have heard about people like Joel Comm.’s six figure income with AdSense, or Jason Calacanis of Weblogs being on his way to generating 1 million dollars in AdSense revenue. Google's Ad revenue sharing affiliate program for publishers certainly seems to be an eSales Nirvana for many webmasters.

But there are obvious and not so obvious times not to use AdSense ads on your sites. Let's list - examine - and explain them below.

1. On Sales or Mini-sites

This is a no-brainer. If you are trying to sell a particular product that is important to your bottomline, you don't want AdSense ads distracting your customers from either joining your email list, or hindering your site's online sales process.

However I do see hybrid sites that are mini-sites or full scale eCommerce sites, with AdSense at the bottom of their pages. This might not be so bad since only 1% - 15% of your site visitors will either buy from you or fill out a form.

The thinking with this approach is you might as well make money from disinterested parties using up your server's bandwidth.

2. SEO Business Sites

If your livelihood depends on search engine optimization or marketing for a living you might want to think twice about displaying AdSense Ads on your site. I can tell you this from personal experience. I once was on top of MSN for search engine marketing in my local area. I concentrated on my local area because I found people felt more comfortable hiring an eCommerce consultant locally.

One day my site fails totally out of the MSN index. After intense study I noticed that I obviously had a filter on my site from MSN.

I analyzed all the top ranking sites in MSN and noticed the only difference between me and the other top ranking sites was I had Google AdSense ads on my site. Someone at MSN felt that my AdSense ads, and perhaps to a less extent, my book on SEO, was getting a free ride in the MSN search engine database.

In fact I noticed that there were no sites with AdSense ads for at least the first 3 pages. Plus the sites with AdSense were only using 1 ad unit at the bottom of the home page (there were very few of them in the top 5 pages).

I knew it was strange to not have AdSense ads on the top Internet marketing sites. This prompted me to scan other industries where I noticed the same trend.

Many of the leading SEO gurus have sites that have been banned from the top listings by the search engines. It seems the more visible you become, the more of a target your sites are to the search engine auditors.

Some of my sites are still on the top of MSN with AdSense ads but that doesn't mean they won't also be targets in the future.

Let's face the facts. MSN and Yahoo! have competing ad networks to Google's, and this competitive situation is rife for a potential backlash against SEO sites with AdSense ads.

Many SEOs will point to exceptions to this position. However you have been warned!

Think about it, how long will MSN and Yahoo! sit back and watch SEO driven websites use their search indexes to fund Google? Did you know SEO in MSN and Yahoo(!) --- is much easier to obtain.

Therefore optimized sites are creating an ad sales wealth transfer from MSN and Yahoo into the pockets of Google! It won't be long before Yahoo! and MSN begin to devalue ranking on AdSense sites in their databases -- if not outright ban them.

If you are in the search engine business stay search engine neutral, or create multiple sites for different search engines.

3. When AdSense Becomes Your Only Business Model

When you become so myopic in your thinking that you build a business solely on AdSense revenue -- think again my friend. Why build a business solely on the largess of Google?

I don't know if your realize it or not, but the sites making the real big AdSense money usually have a following that doesn't depend on the search engines. Internet mavens like Chris Pirillo or Joel Comm have been on the Internet a while and have followings for their websites. Therefore they can consistently make six figures with AdSense.

These content powerhouses are an asset to Google and not the other way around. But do you think Google is going to sit back and watch just anybody make big bucks off of their top rankings?

If you do a search on most keywords you will notice many of the top ranking sites are news sites, .gov sites, or .org sites these days. The only exception is in industries where these sites don't really exist like eCommerce industries (clothing, shopping, etc.).

No doubt in most industries you will notice a conspicuous scarity of AdSense sites in the top rankings. In other words don't bet your future fortunes on AdSense.

An IPO based on projections of AdSense revenue isn't in the future for the average eBusiness. Think of Google AdSense as supplemental income. Building a business solely on AdSense revenue isn't just silly -- it's just plain stupid
